Ben Bedi is a patent attorney with more than sixteen years of experience in various aspects of patent law, including prosecution, patent portfolio design, due diligence, and litigation. He is coinventor of U.S. Patent No. 5,389,126, entitled "Process For Removal Of Components From Liquids In Batch Mode," which relates to separation of components in industrial streams and covers inventions that can be used for purification of effluent streams.
Prior to founding EcoTech Law Group, Ben was a partner at Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly LLP, Dechert LLP, and K&L Gates LLP.

Ben helps clients create strategies to maximize the valuation of their intellectual property assets. He has a proven track record in building patent portfolios in various technologies, including chemical engineering, chemistry, all aspects of integrated circuit fabrication and testing, software, and networking infrastructure.

Ben has litigated patent infringement cases in district courts and at the International Trade Commission. He has led at trial, claim construction hearings, and at hearings on case-dispositive motions. Ben regularly provides patent due diligence for clients involved in various corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and other investments in companies developing innovative technologies. He is adept at working closely with corporate counsel to identify necessary assurances to protect his clients' interests.
